The school term is nearly over and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support and encouragement. All of the children have worked very hard this term and we have seen wonderful progress being made.

We all enjoyed our Super Hero Day and raised €330 for Special Olympics! Thank you.!

We would also like to thank all those who filled boxes for the Team Hope shoe box charity. I believe that it is a very appropriate charity for young children to become involved in and feel that our children benefit enormously from their participation. Luke Gough O’Sullivan, Oscar Marten-Lilley and Paul Neary helped to deliver the forty-five boxes safely to the depot.

Our visit from Ciara Hinksman of Earth Force Education gave the children a whole new perspective on playing in ‘The Forest’. We are looking forward to her return visit in the spring.

First Class really enjoyed and gained a lot of knowledge from their renewable Energy Science Day. Our thanks to Dunlaoghaire Rathdown County Council for sponsoring Vincent’s visit.

We have nearly come to the end of the school plays and while it has been a very busy time we have certainly enjoyed every minute of the preparation that went into each performance.

The school children are looking forward to their visit to The Mill Theatre on
Thursday to see Red Riding Hood’s Dangerous Christmas Adventure. The pre-school children are going to have a Pyjama Day in school.

School will be closing early on Friday 19th for Christmas Holidays:
