The school term is nearly over and we would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support and encouragement. All of the children have worked very hard this term and we have seen wonderful progress being made.

We would like to thank all those who filled boxes for the Team Hope shoe box charity .We believe that it is a very appropriate charity for young children to become involved in and feel that our children benefit enormously from their participation. James Mc Loughlin, Sam Conn, Matthew Quinn, Patrick Crane and Jamie Power helped to deliver the fifty eight boxes safely to the depot.

We also raised funds for Barnardos; a worthy charity, that works with Irish families in need. Jamie Conn won the raffle for the Teddy Bear. €180 was raised in total. Thank you all for your contributions.

Junior Infants, Senior Infants and First Class had a very enjoyable and informative trip to Super Valu where they met the dietician and all the staff. This was in conjunction with the Super Trooper healthy eating programme.

We have come to the end of the school plays and while it has been a very busy time we have certainly enjoyed every minute of the preparation that went into each performance. We hope that you enjoyed watching the display of talent as much as we all enjoyed the preparations!

Montessori and Junior Infants had a very enjoyable outing to the Mill Theatre to see Jack and the Beanstalk. Senior Infants and First class are looking forward to going on Wednesday.

School will be closing early on Thursday 22nd for Christmas Holidays:

 Pre-school 12:00

Junior Infants 12:10

Senior Infants 12:20

First Class 12:30

If you are collecting more than one child please collect at the time the younger child is finishing if this is convenient for you.

We would like to wish you all a very Happy Christmas
